Optional iCloud Backup

Slip Pro may offer an optional iCloud Backup feature. This feature is off by default and is enabled only when you turn on iCloud sync in the app.

When enabled, Slip creates database backup snapshots containing the app data needed to restore your POS setup, including menus, sales records, tax settings, printer-related settings, and other Slip app data that can be backed up. These backup files are stored in your Apple iCloud account using Slip's iCloud container.

Slip does not access your personal iCloud Drive files outside of its own app container. iCloud availability, storage, and account access are managed by Apple and your device settings.

Data sharing

Slip does not share personal data with third parties.

All payment and subscription processing is handled securely by Apple. Optional iCloud Backup data is stored through Apple's iCloud services under your Apple ID.

Your control over data

You can keep using Slip without enabling iCloud Backup. If you enable iCloud Backup, you can turn it off in the app at any time; turning it off stops future iCloud backup activity from Slip on that device.

You can manage iCloud account and app storage settings through Apple device settings. Deleting the Slip app may remove local app data from the device, while iCloud backup snapshots may remain in your iCloud account unless removed through iCloud storage management or other available controls.
